Nicolle Plasencia, CPA, MAcc, is the founder and owner of Khipu Advisory. She is a dedicated accountant with a passion for helping businesses navigate their financial landscape. Nicolle began her career in 2018 as a bookkeeper for a small e-commerce business before earning her bachelor of science in business administration with an emphasis in accounting and finance from the University of Colorado, Denver, graduating summa cum laude. She then transitioned into tax compliance and planning for a public global corporation. Determined to deepen her knowledge, Nicolle pursued a master of accountancy from the University of Denver and became a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) in Colorado in 2024. During this time, she also helped her family with their small businesses bookkeeping and tax returns and implementing these in their individual tax returns to maximize their tax refunds while complying with federal and state tax laws.

With a strong background in tax compliance, tax planning, and bookkeeping across diverse corporate settings, Nicolle has developed the expertise to support small businesses with their accounting and tax needs. She is committed to fostering trust through clear communication and personalized service, ensuring her clients feel confident in their financial decisions. Fluent in English and Spanish, she takes pride in making tax and accounting accessible to a diverse clientele.

Outside of work, Nicolle enjoys traveling, hiking with her pup, strength training, and cooking.
